COOL GARDENS FESTIVAL 2025 IS UNOFFICIALLY UNDERWAY!

Our Cool Gardens 2025 design teams are hard at work building this year’s installations throughout 
Winnipeg! This year’s festival marks the 10th and largest edition to date with installations at 
Assiniboine Park, Osborne Village, St. Boniface, The Forks, and on the soon-to-be reimagined Graham 
Avenue pedestrian and active transportation corridor. Stay tuned for a behind-the-scenes look at 
the installation process and the announcement for this year’s invited community partner

Cool Gardens is a design competition and curated public exhibition of contemporary garden 
installations that takes place in various locations across Manitoba, Canada. The 2025 exhibition 
includes sites across the City of Winnipeg, on Treaty 1 Territory and on the homeland of the Red 
River Métis. Cool Gardens 2025 officially opens from July 5th to September 28th, with installations 
unveiled throughout the month of June and programming throughout the summer.
