Workshop Summary: This workshop will provide a safe learning environment for participants to have more awareness of Indigenous related topics and build skills to support our ability to work and learn from one and another as nations sharing the land together. The course will offer insight from both an academic and Indigenous perspectives on: stereotypes, discrimination, systemic barriers, cultural humility development, ally behaviour and Indigenous worldview awareness. Topics will be presented through a variety of mediums and interactive exercises. Strong Heart Consultation welcomes you to this opportunity of learning and trusts this workshop will play a role for our collective movement to self-empowerment and reconciliation.
